Maryland and its history of legalized cannabis

In 2017, the medical cannabis program became fully operational in the state of Maryland, but for over ten years prior, medical marijuana patients have been able to access medicine in-state through The Darrell Putman Compassionate Use Act. We believe that safe and legal cannabis should be accessible, which is why we opened our doors to medical patients in Maryland in 2022. Easy, safe and legal MD medical cannabis

Qualifying for Maryland’s medical marijuana program is relatively straightforward. Any Maryland resident 18+ years of age whose doctor recommends medical cannabis as a treatment option for a qualifying medical condition is eligible to register with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) as a patient. Once you’re properly registered with the state, you can visit our dispensary to shop for your medical cannabis products.

Special discounts for our medical patients and veterans

The very first sale of recreational cannabis on the East Coast was on November 20, 2018 to a veteran of the Iraq War. We’ve carried on that tradition by serving our veterans the best way possible by offering a discount for medical patients who are veterans at 25% off daily, and 35% off every Wednesday.

Our Warrior Wednesdays at Panacea Wellness are based on our belief that every veteran should have access to safe and affordable cannabis. We’re honored to extend this discount to veterans in Annapolis.
